Sarah’s Spanish Retreat 2023

islantilla Golf School November 2023

I can’t quite believe I have been organising and delivering Golf Schools for 13 years now to the quaint area of Huelva home to the wonderful Islantilla Resort.

The recently refurbished hotel ticks all the boxes I require to carry out a successful Women’s Golf School. The rooms are large and well equipped with a manageable single supplement figure suiting many.

The inclusive drinks package on offer during the evening meal is an added benefit. The only decision is which colour white, red or rose?

The beautiful views of the pool, golf course or early morning sunrise will not disappoint meaning a mere 50 yard walk is the maximum commute to the golf course.
The three nine hole golf courses tests all areas of the game with water carries, awkward lies, course strategy with club selection a premium to find the small protected well manicured greens.

I run a series of on course competitions throughout the Golf School with the hidden partner and team events an eagerly anticipated format.

I am never far away from each group on the course to assist with the transition to the course which is after all key and the name of the game.
Sarah's Spanish Retreat with Sarah Bennett Golf Schools
There is nothing better than to dine on the veranda tucking into a fresh tasty salad under the sapphire blue skies watching the other golfers hard at work

The earlier tee times suits the players perfectly so the afternoon can be spent attending one of Sarah’s short game clinics which are renowned and extremely popular.

Individual Coaching is provided but the emphasis is firmly upon enhancing your score with minimal technical input over the 5 days with plenty of additional scoring solutions.

The longer duration of 7 days will enable greater individual coaching with designated times which will be relayed in advance. A summary with video will be provided to each client during the week.
A unique Q&A session where I can be quizzed upon my role as PGA Captain received wonderful feedback. I incorporate this with Alison Nicholas former Solheim Cup Captain. This is the only chance to listen to the careers we have both experienced spanning over 35 years.

A well worth visit after the final days golf is to take the short downhill 15 minute stroll to the beach taking in the sites of the local fishermen at work assessing their daily catch.

The local Cava with crisps chatting to new found friends is the perfect setting to watch the beautiful evening sun disappearing on the horizon.
All in all a top destination which will fell like home from home.

Needless to say these Schools are particularly popular so early booking is recommended with one of Sarah’s chosen ABTA/ATOL agents.
